The philosophy of the Sancolodi family, which has for years run its own cantina in the suggestive area between Bassano del Grappa and Asolo set against Monte Grappa, is about passion for wine and vineyards.
The plentiful land of this part of the Veneto region has a mild climate, the optimum altitude and good exposure to the sun, making it the perfect environment for vines that turn into great wines. In rediscovering and making the most of native grape varieties, the Sancolodi winery is becoming ever more specialised in creating awareness and appreciation for the aromas and tastes of times gone by.
